“Breakfast is the first of the three basic meals of the day. It is therefore good that it serves to take the right amount of calories and nutrients to better face what lies ahead. There are people with difficulties in chewing and swallowing (dysphagia), for which it is difficult to manage the correct diet. For this reason, Nestlé Health Science offers Meritene Cereal, a balanced food for breakfast, with a soft and homogeneous texture, rich in proteins, with vitamins and minerals and which manages to bring a good amount of calories (205 kcal per serving) to start the day.
This product, then, is really tasty, a preparation with 8 cereals and honey that will conquer you every morning at breakfast (or in the afternoon as a snack) making you find the desire to be at the table. Meritene Cereal is also simple to prepare: it takes 30g of product and 200 ml of milk semi-skimmed milk or water to create a homogeneous compound and delicious. And, for an extra touch of flavor, you can add cocoa, instant coffee, vanilla or cinnamon.
This balanced food, in addition to providing a good amount of protein that helps maintain muscle strength, provides vitamin D and calcium, for the bones, and zinc and iron, which instead support the immune system.
