Meritene Diabet Creme is part of the Meritene range, designed by Nestlé Health Science to meet the needs of all those who for health reasons must follow specific dietary guidelines. This high-protein product, composed of low glycemic index carbohydrates, is specially designed for people with diabetes. Not only that: thanks to its soft and creamy consistency, Meritene Diabet Creme can effectively integrate the nutrition of those who have swallowing or chewing problems in order to prevent or treat malnutrition. A jar provides 11 grams of protein, 5.9 grams of lipids and 18 grams of carbohydrates, for a total of 178 calories per serving. It can be used to supplement the diet, with an expected consumption ranging from 1 to 3 doses per day. Without gluten and containing a clinically irrelevant amount of lactose , it is available in practical 125 g jars, flavored with Vanilla or Coffee flavor.

| Information and advice for use | Food for special medical purposes with a low glycemic index, high calorie and high protein for diabetic patients with dysphagia. Indicated for oral nutrition of diabetic patients, malnourished, at risk of malnutrition or suffering from alterations in the processes of swallowing or chewing. The closed package is kept at room temperature in a cool and dry place away from heat sources. The opened package must be resealed, stored in the refrigerator and used within 24 hours. UHT sterilized; packaged in a protected atmosphere. 1 to 3 jars / day as a supplement to the daily diet; 6-8 jars / day according to medical prescription if used as the only source of nourishment. |
